I Have Not Forgotten You

The other day I heard the following quote: “To the world you may be one person but to one person you may be the world.”

Lately, I’ve noticed the loneliness, emptiness, disappointment, and depression a lot of people feel as a result of social distancing. I personally get stressed when, all of a sudden, things don’t go the way I planned. What about you?

I just want to remind you of a Bible verse that always encourages me. God’s word brings me comfort in the highs and lows of life. When you think nobody cares about your accomplishments, your victories, your struggles or fears... guess what? God cares, and I do too.

Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise Him, my Savior and my God.” - Psalm 42:11 (NIV)

Perhaps, you may feel like friends, family members, or church leaders have forgotten you. But God hasn’t. He is working in areas of your life that you may not comprehend or see at the moment. That’s just how precious and kind our God is. Though we may not fully understand what He is doing, we can rejoice in Him because He always wants the best for us.

So please remember: you are not forgotten. The fact that you are reading this blog right now is evidence that God is always paying attention to you. He knows exactly what you need.
